Steak and Cheese Garlic Toast – A Hearty, Flavor-Packed Snack or Dinner

Ingredients:
1/2 kg (1 lb) thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)
4 slices of thick bread (like French or sourdough)
1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
2 tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 small onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste

In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook onion and bell pepper until soft. Remove and set aside.
