Crusty Artisan Bread – Just 4 Ingredients for Bakery-Style Magic!
There’s something magical about the smell of fresh bread wafting through the kitchen. This no-knead crusty bread is golden and crackly on the outside, soft and airy inside — the kind that’s perfect for soups, pastas, or slathering with butter while still warm.
It needs no mixer, no fancy equipment, and just a little patience. Let it rise, bake in a hot pot, and you’ve got a rustic loaf that’ll make you feel like a pro baker.
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1½ teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon instant yeast
1½ cups warm water
Instructions:
In a large bowl, stir together flour, salt, and yeast.
Pour in warm water and mix until a sticky dough forms.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let rise at room temp for 12–18 hours (overnight works great).
Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven (or any oven-safe pot with lid) inside to heat for 30 minutes.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, shape it roughly into a ball.
Carefully place it in the hot pot (use parchment paper for easy handling). Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
Uncover and bake 10–15 minutes more until golden brown and crusty.
Cool on a rack before slicing — if you can wait!
Serving Ideas: Toast it for breakfast, dip it in olive oil and balsamic, or enjoy with garlic butter.
