Baked 3 Packet Pot Roast

Baked 3 Packet Pot Roast – Comfort food at its easiest and most flavorful!

When my kitchen smells like this roast, it reminds me of cozy Sundays and family dinners without the hassle. Just three pantry packets, a good roast, and a bit of time in the oven — no searing or fussing needed.

Tender, juicy, and packed with bold flavor, this dish is a lifesaver on busy days. You literally dump everything in, let it bake slowly, and what comes out is a perfectly seasoned roast with rich, savory juices that scream homemade goodness. Serve it with mashed potatoes or roasted veggies, and watch everyone clean their plates.

Ingredients:
1 (3-4 lb) chuck roast
1 packet ranch dressing mix
1 packet brown gravy mix
1 packet Italian dressing mix
1 cup beef broth or water
Optional: carrots, potatoes, onions

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
Place the roast in a large baking dish or Dutch oven.
Sprinkle all 3 packets evenly over the meat.
Pour the broth or water around the roast (not on top).
Add optional veggies around the roast if using.
Cover tightly with foil or a lid.
Bake for 3½ to 4 hours or until the meat is fork-tender.
Let it rest a few minutes before serving.

Pro Tip: Leftovers make incredible sandwiches or can be shredded into tacos!
